No, they SHOULDN’T be available online because a local bankruptcy court by law, DOES NOT have to provide that information on the internet to the general public.
If you want to search for a bankruptcy, get in your car and drive down to the bankruptcy court…if it’s too far, then you have just figured out why the company’s charge…convenience.

I work for a title company, and I’ve never seen one free. Each county has their own price for it, but in the 5 boroughs of NY, I think the charge is only like 12 dollars.

Don’t know of a free one but Pacer.com is the cheapest.
There is no cost unless you print something out.

Many credit reporting agencies offer free credit reports. However, this will only be for your personal credit history which includes bankruptcies. I am unsure if you are searching for yourself or for others.
Experian is a company that offers free credit reports.
